First, I'd like to tell you a little bit about why I'm doing this........... |
What For? Being an Art enthusiast for most my life, I have come to notice what a struggle most folks have in getting their works noticed. When the internet came along, I realized what a powerful way to get one's crafts viewed by a large and varied audience. Also I personally know many of these type of people myself and have witnessed first-hand what a hardship it can be to market the wonderful and unique items produced by our very own artists and crafters in this great land of ours. In my own philanthropic way, I decided to create a venue whereby artisans can display their goods in this, the new marketplace of the future. Making available a connection to the world at large and an exciting opportunty for both the buyer and the seller to come together whereas they may never have crossed paths otherwise. Now for the first time in human history, people can shop for items that normally they would never have been exposed to. This concept, for me at least, is a very exciting opportunity to bring together peoples and their interests, without the expense and time of actually going to and attempting to find items that they wouldn't have known existed without an exhaustive personal research . Which leads us to the next and most often asked question................. |
Why is this FREE? Because I believe in Art and Crafts and I also believe one should not have to pay for web design. It does cost me to host your webpage so, read below for a list of membership plans we have created to host your webpage(s). |
So, What's the Catch? Now you ask, why would someone do this for free? Well of course, I am not independently wealthy, yet, I have manuvered myself into a position of making this offer to you; |
Here's the deal : First, you will be listed in the WestCoast Creations Catalog '97, You get a thumbnail photo of your best piece displayed here. A potential customer will be able to view your personal catalog by clicking on the thumbnail photo, which in turn leads to a more extensive display of your items. This more extensive display is the thrust of the idea for your free webpage. It will contain photos and descriptive text about what you have to offer. In return for all this free work I simply ask for membership dues in the form of either monthly, semi-annual or yearly payments. A mere Ten dollars a month to host your free website. Or if you like, pay for six months in advance and recieve one month free. A one year subscription gets you two months free! |
